Location: Villa BV is situated about 500m above sealevel bordering a national park and forest and overlooking the Opatija Riviera with a stunning view to the islands (on sunny days all six of them). By car Opatija is about 10-15min away and provides a full gastronomic scenery, but if you are willing – all rooms have a fully equipped kitchen and there is also a barbecue. We loved to prepare our own food (with local olive oils, greens, fish) and enjoy it on the terrace or at the pool.
Amenities: This place has everything you might wish for. Its pure luxury. We stayed in the East Wing and just loved the queen-sized bed-cave. No need to take a lot of clothes, there is a fully equipped laundry room with ample supply of anything you would need. Free Wifi is available in all areas, maybe a little spottier around the pool than in proximity of the rooms.
Hosts: This family emanates hospitality and honest warm care for their guests. They created nothing short of a home. We would like to thank Vesna and Boris for their care and attention – you are incredible hosts and made us feel part of the family. We we enjoyed every second of your company and will gladly return. Overall: a memorable stay in a perfect, warm, luxurious environment for those who look for peace, rest and appreciate independence and individuality. We found ourselves very sorry to have to leave.
